Privacy Policy

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce Toronto ("PCCT", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, phone (optional), topic, and message. We also record submission metadata for fraud / abuse prevention. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics (page views, referrer, region) are collected.

How we use it

We use contact submissions only to respond to your inquiry and route it to the appropriate PCCT committee. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except processors who help us operate the site (Google Cloud / Firebase for hosting, reCAPTCHA Enterprise for abuse prevention).

Retention

Contact submissions are retained for up to 24 months from receipt, after which they are deleted unless required for an active matter.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@pcctoronto.com. You may also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We enforce TLS in transit, encryption at rest, least-privilege access, default-deny database rules, Firebase App Check, and continuous secret scanning.
